**Who are Heidi?**
Heidi is on a mission to halve the time it takes to deliver world-class care.
We believe that by 2050, every clinician will practice with AI systems that free them from administrative burdens and increase the quality and accessibility of care to patients across the world.
Built for clinicians, by clinicians, at the core of Heidi is its people. We are an eclectic bunch of inventors, builders, scientists, nurses, doctors, mathematicians, designers, creatives, and high-agency executors.
We achieve in 6 months what it takes our competitors 4 years to do. In just 12 months, 20 million patient consults were supported by Heidi, and we’re now powering more than 1 million consults every week.
With our most recent $65MM round of funding from leading VC firms, we’re geared up to supercharge our ambitious global growth, starting with the US, Canada, UK and Europe - and we need great people like you to get there. Ready for the challenge?
**The Role**
We’re looking for an **Engineering Manager - Growth** to lead the team responsible for accelerating Heidi’s global expansion through experimentation, data-driven insights, and scalable growth systems.
You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team focused on optimizing acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. Working closely with Product, Data, and Design, you’ll build the infrastructure and tools that power Heidi’s growth loops, ensuring every user touchpoint feels magical and delivers measurable business impact.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves metrics, creativity, and speed, blending engineering rigor with product intuition to help Heidi reach millions more clinicians and patients worldwide.
**What you'll do**
- ** Lead and grow a high-performing engineering**team focused on acquisition, activation, and retention experiments across our products and markets.
- ** Build scalable systems and internal tools that support rapid iteration,**from A/B testing frameworks to event instrumentation pipelines.
- ** Partner with Product, Data, and Marketing teams** to identify high-leverage opportunities that drive growth and user delight.
- ** Champion an experimentation mindset,**fostering a culture where we learn fast, measure impact, and scale what works.
- ** Own the technical roadmap**for growth infrastructure, analytics, and automation.
- ** Collaborate**closely with regional and product leads**to ensure growth initiatives align with Heidi’s go-to-market priorities.
- ** Contribute to strategic planning**around international expansion, platform adoption, and product-led growth.
- ** Foster engineering excellence** through mentorship, thoughtful code reviews, and a focus on simplicity and velocity.
**What we’ll look for**:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or people management role.
- Proven experience driving growth through experimentation, analytics, or data-informed product development.
- Strong technical background in modern web technologies (e.g., TypeScript, React, Python, Go) and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
- Deep understanding of growth systems — A/B testing, data pipelines, event tracking, user segmentation, or automation tooling.
- Strong analytical mindset; able to translate data into insights and strategy.
- Experience with AI code generation tools and driving adoption within the team.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, design, and marketing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance speed and quality.
- Passion for building high-performing, low-ego teams that move fast and learn continuously.
**What do we believe in?**
- We create unconventional solutions to difficult problems and we build them fast. We want you to set impossible goals and make them happen, think landing a rocket but the medical version.
- You'll be surrounded by a world-class team of engineers, medicos and designers to do your best work, inspired by our shared beliefs:
- We will stop at nothing to improve patient care across the world.
- We design user experiences for joy and ship them fast.
- We make decisions in a flat hierarchy that prioritizes the truth over rank.
- We provide the resources for people to succeed and give them the freedom to do it.
**Why you’ll flourish working with us ?**
- Flexible work with a hybrid environment
- Additional paid day off for your birthday and wellness days
- A generous personal development budget of $500 per annum
- Learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team
- Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win
- The rare chance to create a global impact as you immerse yourself in one of the leading healthtech startups in the world
- If you have an impact quickly, the opportunity to fast track your startup career
