The Role

Interior Engineering is seeking a building services Engineer with experience in either mechanical, electrical, fire or hydraulic services design to join their team.

As a member of our dynamic and forward-thinking team, you will be responsible for providing efficient and innovative design solutions for various building services projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of accurate and detailed design solutions
  • Preparation of contract documentation for tendering and construction purposes
  • Managing design projects from concept through to completion including the consultation with all members of the design team
  • Attending site to inspect existing services and review construction works
  • Liaising with equipment Suppliers and Manufacturers
  • Researching new products, standards and design practices to ensure the Company remains up-to-date with the latest building services technology

Skills and Experience:

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have relevant tertiary qualifications as recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • Have experience working with a multi-discipline engineering consultancy company. All mid-level to senior candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Have sound knowledge of the BCA and Australian Standards
  • Have experience managing multi-discipline projects.
  • Have experience collecting multi-discipline information from site.
  • Be willing to travel and stay overnight, or longer, to any Australian destination.
  • Be fit enough and willing to carry and scale ladders, enter ceiling spaces, walk on roof spaces, and carry out other tasks that may be physically challenging.
  • Be proficient at driving and carry a C class license.
  • Sound problem solving skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skill levels.
