**The Role**:
Your role as Lease Manager for this state government business is to assist with the delivery and implementation of leasing projects and provision of office accommodation.
You will also plan and deliver the supply of leased assets within the State Government’s property portfolio, as well as providing lease management advice to multi-disciplinary teams.
- Undertake lease negotiation and lease management of a portfolio of leased buildings
- Provide timely and well researched advice on marketplace conditions and industry trends
- Negotiate and represent this business at intra and inter-departmental meetings, and at external forums
- Collect and analyse data and assist with the preparation of briefing notes
- Responsible for the preparation of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting information
- Assist with the updating of streamlined lease management, and tenancy and financial management systems
**Technical/operational expertise**:
- Experience in interpreting, negotiating and managing leases in a portfolio of commercial office (and non-office) accommodation.
- Competent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to quickly build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in information technology systems used to calculate and categorise commercial space critical in lease management (Manhattan)
- Experience in managing conflict and negotiating positive outcomes with internal and external stakeholders
