**The Role**
Are you a high performing, motivated and experienced Administration professional with Finance, Procurement and Contract Management experience? The Mental Health and Wellbeing (MHW) Branch has been recently established in the People Services Division, Defence People Group.

The Branch will develop strategy, policies and programs that enable the assured and continuous improvement of mental health across the Defence Enterprise by providing evidence based research and advice to improve Defence workforce wellbeing. As a member of the Business Operations Directorate, you will contribute to building and shaping the Branch as it influences and drives change to support Defence population mental health and wellbeing.

The available role is responsible for providing financial, procurement and operations support to the Branch, including:

- Coordinate administrative and business support activities for the Branch.
- Prepare, advise, assess and evaluate Branch financial reports and statements in compliance with the financial management framework.
- Provide advice and support Branch procurement planning, tendering and contract management activities in compliance with policies, processes and procedures.
- Work with stakeholders and budget owners to support and drive priorities and timeframes.

**About our Team**
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Branch was recently established to align mental health and wellbeing programs, policies and services across the Defence enterprise. The Branch comprises military members and civilian employees. We are growing into an inter-disciplinary team focused on improving the mental health and wellbeing of the Defence community.

The Business Operations Directorate provides connected business support services and manages a range of corporate enabling activities. This includes branch administration, governance, finance and workforce management. We are seeking team members to support us in undertaking this work.
