**About the role**

As the Due Diligence Analyst, you will be reporting directly to the Group Manager Due Diligence & Intelligence and have exposure to a wide range of due diligence, vetting and screening actions in support of The Star’s AML/CTF Program.

In this multi-faceted role, you will research and verify information from a variety of data bases, and then analyse, collate and relay your findings to the business. The ability to write comprehensive and coherent reports, conveying pertinent risk perspectives in a timely manner will be vital in identifying and classifying potential AML/CTF related threats.

Due to the complexity and sensitivity involved in managing the requirements of the position, an ability to quickly develop an understanding of the casino regulatory requirements would be highly advantageous.

**About you**
- Experience working as a Due Diligence Analyst in the banking or finance sector
- Demonstrate effective critical thinking and able to accurately assess, interpret and evaluate information
- Ability to work independently with limited direction against established priorities to deliver quality and timely outcomes
- Well-developed research and analytical skills to make informed decisions that involve complex or escalated issues
- Comfortable delivering recommendations to managers for outcomes with considerable complexity and/or sensitivity
- High level of accountability for own actions
- Commitment to developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Chinese linguist skills would be highly regarded
