**Make your mark**:
As a Principal Product Designer, you will not only be responsible for solving complex customer, business and product problems end to end, you also will help shape and drive design at Shift.

As part of this role, you will get to work alongside a talented cross-functional team including product, sales, marketing, data and our exceptional engineering team.

**How you will make a difference**:

- Take the lead in solving problems of the highest importance, complexity and ambiguity from initial thinking through to shipped solution
- Consistently produce best-in-class designs, have a keen attention to detail, and help elevate and maintain the finished quality of our platforms
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers, platforms and business in order to identify and contribute to strategic initiatives
- Conduct user research and use data and analytics insights to inform decisions and help grow a culture of problem and solution validation

**Qualifications**:
**Skills that set you apart**:

- You have 10+ years working with product and tech teams
- Highly experienced running Discovery and Research activities
- UI/Interaction master craftsperson
- Excel at negotiation and working with stakeholders to land on the most optimal solution
- Positive, can-do attitude and thrives on being part of a small, incredibly focused team
- Highly proficient in Figma and other industry design tools
- Finance or Payments Domain Experience (nice to have)
- An online portfolio, or PDF that you can share with us.
- A degree or certificate in design
