**About the Role**
Reporting into the Shared Services Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will take key ownership of driving end-to-end recruitment and on-boarding for field-based staff within the QLD region. In this, you will play a pivotal role in driving talent attraction that meets current and future organisational needs, achieved through a highly engaging user experience across recruitment and employment induction activity.
In particular, you will be responsible for the following:
- Drive ongoing recruitment activity in the sourcing of talent from the initial job requisition to preparation of job ads to including internal criteria alignment, preparation of job ads to applicant screening, coordination and management of interviews.
- Partner with hiring managers to advise on best practice talent engagement processes
- Support the development of improved market presence of the Connecting Families brands through LinkedIn and job board presence
- Engage with job board suppliers and support the management of recruitment tool subscriptions such as branded/promoted advertisements
- Develop and regularly update a strategic training and capability development framework targeted for field-based staff that shapes high quality learning across the employee journey (including induction and ongoing training requirements).
- Maintain an annual training plan / calendar based on consultation with key business stakeholders and incorporates sector/industry requirements
- Provide ongoing updates to the business on changes to regulatory environment that impacts on the organisation’s training and capability frameworks
- Align organisational training frameworks with key client staffing requirements
- Facilitate new employee inductions and ongoing staff training workshops
- Support the management and enhancement of internal training systems/platforms, including tracking completion of training modules and other related people records
- Where appropriate, align training data with other HR data and systems
- Support the broader management of probity and compliance requirements
- Provide reporting and insights that align with assessment of the organisation’s training goals and KPIs
- Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly updates on KPIs aligned to recruitment and induction activity
- Provide ongoing management of the group’s internal recruitment and onboarding systems
**About you**
As the Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist, you are energetic and action-oriented in nature with a customer-centric mindset. You possess second-to-none communication skills and have the strong ability to engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business.
In addition, you also have demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment and onboarding within an awards-based industry/sector and enjoy recruiting field-based staff and thrive working in a volume-driven environment where you can make a true impact.
