**WHAT'S ON OFFER**
Great opportunity to work as a Leading Hand across multiple demolition and excavation projects in Sydney. This is an autonomous role floating between jobs managing allocated teams, dealing with clients and coordinating trades and sub-contractors to ensure the projects are managed correctly and accordingly with the company’s procedures. Where there are more challenging and larger projects, you will be responsible for the supervision of the site to ensure a smooth delivery.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate with a best practice approach to health and safety.
- Observe and demonstrate safe work practices and ensure others do the same
- Assist with the supervision of activities to achieve the most productive use of available materials and resources
- Supervise all trades
- Ensure that the surrounding work area is maintained to OHS&E standard at all times
- Maintain a professional liaison with all clients and trades
- Maintain overall quality assurance and best practice whilst ensuring compliance
- Ensure regular and continuous feedback on progress of all activities
- Ability to negotiate positive outcomes for the organisation

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous experience as a Leading Hand working on civil kerb and gutter or excavation projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and subcontractors
- Must be self-motivated, demonstrating exemplary leadership and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to plan and implement rectification scopes of works
- Must have adequate reporting, admin and planning skills
