The position

We are looking for an enthusiastic, vibrant and experienced Events Manager to come on board at REIWA and hit the ground running bringing fresh ideas and a passion for events..

You will work within the Digital Marketing team to manage the delivery and implementation of REIWA’s events calendar and registrations online. In this role you need to be confident communicator, versatile and creative with the ability to think on your feet. This is an exciting role for an experienced Events Manager seeking a busy and varied role.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

- Full end to end coordination of all REIWA events including awards nights. This includes the sourcing of venues as well as preparing event programs to ensure effective implementation.
- Develop marketing and communications plans to promote events and engage members through digital platforms.
- Forge and maintain relationships with REIWA members and key stakeholders.
- Manage REIWA’s events calendar to ensure that REIWA vents are engaging and meeting member needs.
- Work as an integral part of the marketing team.
- Manage and grow event sponsorship opportunities.
- Proven ability to write, edit and coordinate production of highly professional communication in accordance with REIWA’s events calendar

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role the following requirements must be met:

- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role managing large events.
- Qualifications in event management/planning.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as being a clear and confident communicator.
- Experience in managing multiple events simultaneously.
- Ability to be flexible and resilient under pressure when delivering events.
- Event marketing experience and experience working with a CRM, marketing automation and / or social media platforms.
- Experience creating event management plans.
- Experience within the real estate industry would be advantageous (but not essential)
