Client experience officer/Reception

We are looking for an energetic & motivated client service officer to join our team at the footinjuryclinic. The footinjuryclinic is one of the most technologically advanced walk and run analysis clinics in the Eastern Suburbs.

This challenging role will involve managing a busy front desk reception, liaising with patients, supporting the practitioners as well as general administration duties. Your time-management skills and wonderful way with people will be fully utilised in this exciting role. Key Responsibilities
- Administration support and other ad hoc duties
- Overall management of Practice operations
- Patient invoicing, revenue collection including debt recovery
- Medicare liaison and handling patient fee queries
- Computer skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and IT systems.
- Training new staff when required and supervision of reception staff
- Assistance with preparation and maintenance of Policy and Procedures Manual, initial and on-going accreditation and familiarity with relevant regulations
- Inventory management and timely ordering of office/medical supplies
- Occasional Typing and general office duties
- Reporting to the Directors of the footinjuryclinic, the key responsibilities include:

- Identifying, reviewing and trouble-shooting operational issues, in particular IT, and telephone systems.
- Identifying areas of improvement and drive change and quality and safety improvement.
- Providing exceptional customer service to all our stakeholders including our patients, referrers and health professionals working in the clinic.
- Monitor and guide appropriate use of billing and claiming practices (item numbers).
- Performing reception duties if required.
- Identifying areas for growth and increased ethical revenue.
- Collecting & entering patient details
- Scheduling appointments when required
- Answering telephone calls & enquiries
- Essential Criteria:

- Proficiency in IT including an ability to troubleshoot
- Previous experience working as a Practice Manager in a busy practice
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proactive approach to decision making and problem solving
- High level of communication skills written and verbal

- Some Medical Receptionist or Practice Manager experience, strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach
- Highly developed capacity to identify and analyse practice management requirements
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, confident, highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- Effective communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills
- High standard of work, values and ethics
- Basic IT troubleshooting skills (highly beneficial)
