Reporting into an impressive Director of Communications and working as part of a broader function, this is a critical role that partners with the client base of this well know global professional services firm to shape and deliver key messages that strengthen their clients corporate profile during times of reputational risk - such as a cyber incident.

This key role enhances the reputation by creating strategically aligned and engaging media and PR content, addressing and minimising reputational risk, as well as building positive relationships with stakeholders.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Identify, source, and develop proactive opportunities for media engagement to deliver key messages that reinforce reputation
- Assist clients formulate crisis communications strategies, and support the client in the roll out of those communications
- Support clients with acute and longer term reputation issues arising from a crisis
- Provide calm, professional strategic advice to clients in stressful and, often upsetting, situations
- Utilise your strong media relationships and contacts
- Draft incident response communications, media releases, ASX announcements, government briefing notes, social media posts and other related communications collateral
- Coach client spokespeople to effectively convey key messages, and manage their clients reputation through the issue

**You will have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or relevant
- Extensive experience providing specialist advice and delivering successful, strategy aligned with crisis and reputational risk activities
- Track record of delivering media and public relations strategies that maintain and enhance corporate reputation and relationships
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to address emerging and complex issues and minimise reputational risk
- Demonstrated detailed knowledge of and existing relationships with key media and industry contacts
- Experience building trust and credibility with internal, community, government, and financial services industry stakeholders
- Confidently presents messages in a clear, concise and articulate way, using appropriate and unambiguous language
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, influencing and listening skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage varied deadlines and competing demands
