Experienced Support Worker Needed

Geelong, Australia MY SUPPORT SERVICES Full time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker, possibly with a nursing background, to provide personalised care for our client, a 27-year-old individual living in Newcomb, near Geelong. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering superior care and support for individuals living with disabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Assistance with community access, helping our client engage with their local community and maintain a social presence.
2. Shower care at the client's home a few times per week.
3. Future out-of-home respite support as required.

Our long-term goal is to assemble a dedicated care team to provide consistent support for our client and their family, who currently do not have any support.

**About You**

We are looking for individuals with:
1. Previous experience as a support worker, preferably with a nursing background.
2. The ability to understand and adapt to our client's needs and routines.
3. An empathetic, patient, and resilient nature.
4. Excellent communication skills.
