Intertwined Support Services is on the lookout for passionate, energetic and reliable support workers to join our dynamic team supporting young participants—many with neurodiverse needs, trauma backgrounds, and complex behaviours.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Building consistent, positive relationships with young people with complex needs.
- Providing active support in daily living, personal care, and emotional regulation.
- Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours with compassion and confidence.
- Using sport and recreation as a powerful tool to engage, regulate and build trust.
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to follow individualised care and behaviour support plans.
- Promoting independence and dignity in every interaction.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

- Has experience working with young people affected by trauma or who have complex behaviours.
- Uses a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach in all support.
- Enjoys being active and can engage participants in sports or outdoor activities.
- Is young at heart, resilient, emotionally intelligent, and reliable.
- Holds (or is working towards) Cert III or IV in Individual Support, Youth Work, Mental Health, or similar.
- Has a current First Aid/CPR certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and Driver’s Licence.
