The Role - Industrial Technology Skills (Manufacturing) Location Lowood is a large rural Queensland school located just north of Pine Mountain, and just 30kms from Ipswich along the Brisbane Valley Highway. Support for Beginning Teachers Teacher Learning Centres (TLCs) serve as a vehicle to coordinate high quality teacher professional learning practices including professional development, release time, mentoring, coaching, networking, holistic induction and support for the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST). The Metropolitan TLC has been established as a professional learning centre supporting preservice, beginning and early career teachers as they progress along the teaching continuum. The intent for the Metropolitan TLC is to provide consistent and streamlined professional learning that empowers confident and capable teaching professionals.
