Springfield Central State High School is a large school with a range of student abilities in all classes. The school site is unusual due to its terrain - being built on the side of hill, therefore staff need to be aware of the number of stairs around the school.
Being a team player is essential at SCSHS, as consistent in expectations and practices is the foundation of the school.
There is plenty of support and mentoring available, and beginning and returning teachers to the system will be expected to participate in our Beginning Teacher program during their contract at SCSHS.
- Committed to their role as a staff member at SCSHS.
- Demonstrates professionalism at all times.
- A clear commitment to our students and the improvement of their outcomes.
