**About the role**

Your main duties will include:

- Provide administrative and technical support in relation to water and sewer operations, maintenance and construction.
- Liaise with and advise builders, developers, architects, engineers, designers and the community regarding Council’s requirements on water and sewer policies, standards and practices.
- Carry out investigations and prepare concept plans for water and sewer construction works.
- Prepare contract documents and construction cost estimates for water and sewer construction works.
- Monitor and report on project expenditures.
- Monitor and operate SCADA and Telemetry systems and participate in a duty roster to provide after-hours support when required.

**About you**
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
- Sound computer skills.
- Experience in water and sewer investigation, design and industry standards.
- Experience in construction and contract management.

**Salary Information**

Total remuneration for the role is in the range $91,853.58 to $100,809.69 gross per annum consisting of:

- $82,379.89 to $90,412.28 base salary
- $9,473.69 to $10,397.41 superannuation (at 11.5%)
- When required by Council, participation in an on call roster is part of this position. An allowance is paid when on call._
