Water Quality Officer

**About the role**

The starting salary for this position is $82,379.89 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation.

**About you**

You will hold a qualification in Science, Engineering or related field (or substantial progress towards completion of the same), or have equivalent experience demonstrating the ability and competencies specific to the role. You have knowledge of relevant health and environment legislation with the ability to ensure compliance. You can also demonstrate:

- Practical experience in developing and implementing public health and environmental monitoring and reporting programs particularly related to environmental management systems and quality assurance programs.
- Well-developed written skills and the ability to listen and accurately interpret and convey information enabling timely delivery of outcomes.
- Ability to work both independently and effectively within a team.
- Computer literacy with specific expertise in MS office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and in Geographical Information Systems.
