This is a unique opportunity to work closely as a disability support worker with a highly motivated, entrepreneurial businessman to assist him to live and work independently.

Why is this role unique?
- The role involves the provision of personal care support to a business entrepreneur living with quadriplegia.
- We are a small, dynamic family business operating for over 30 years. We offer support and training to the successful applicant. No large agencies or confusing work protocols involved.
- We are located in Melbourne’s inner east close to shopping and entertainment.
- The role crosses from personal care to assistance with general office work.

There is always variety.
- General computer/office skills is required in addition to personal care.
- The position could possibly suit a student in the allied health area or someone with a background in nursing, It could also suit someone who is travelling in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa. Training and learning support will be provided for the right person.
- Applicants must be very well spoken in English and have very good written and comprehension skills.
- The position can be either full or part time depending on what works best for everyone.

Preferred applicants WILL HAVE:
1.Current National or Overseas Police Certificate

2.Current Driver’s License

3.A caring, empathetic and enthusiastic attitude

4.A strong work ethic being responsible, honest and reliable

5. Previous experience working with people/person with physical disability is a huge advantage

6. A friendly, positive, happy personality with a good sense of humour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Morning shift
