**Make an Impact - Support Older People and Adults with Disability in NSW**
- The Ageing and Disability Commission (ADC) is seeking a motivated Project Officer to join our team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that safeguard the rights of older people and adults with disability across NSW.

**About the ADC**
- The ADC works to protect and promote the rights of older people and adults with disability by safeguarding against abuse, neglect and exploitation, and by raising community awareness. We also oversee the NSW Official Community Visitor scheme for people living in residential care and assisted boarding houses.
**What you’ll do**
- As a Project Officer, you will contribute to the design, coordination, and delivery of a range of projects that improve ADC’s service delivery and outcomes for individuals and communities. Your work will include:
- Contributing to training, community engagement, and capability-building projects.
- Developing and coordinating project plans, resources, documentation, and reporting to ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Undertaking research and analysis, identifying trends, emerging issues, and opportunities for service improvement.
- Preparing reports, submissions, and briefings that inform strategic decision-making and planning.
- Effectively engaging with stakeholders and coordinating consultations, events, and working groups.
- Attending community events, expos, and forums to fulfil and promote the ADC’s role and initiatives, including to raise awareness and educate the public on abuse, neglect and exploitation of older people and adults with disability.

**Essential requirements**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent industry or professional experience.
- Willingness to travel.
