
Front of House/ Concierge

Quantum Market Research is seeking a Front of House/Concierge to join our growing team, on a 6 month fixed term contract.
This role is considered the ‘face' of these businesses and is responsible for ensuring our clients are offered the best possible experience when contacting or meeting with us. The role requires a person that has a ‘can-do' attitude and that can undertake their daily tasks in an efficient and positive manner, offering assistance in a proactive manner and representing all of the companies in a professional and welcoming manner. The person needs to be able to offer high quality reception support to a group of high achieving companies that have a workforce of hard-working, highly professional and enthusiastic teams. The ability to use initiative, prioritise tasks and take on responsibility are paramount, as is the ability to communicate professionally with people at the highest level. Each company strives to deliver the highest quality of work and expects this person to support them in that endeavor.

- An ability to juggle several requests and a relentless determination to see them all through to the end, with a rapid understanding of tasks required
- An ability to stay calm under pressure
- A team player with a ‘can do' ‘what else?' and solution-focused approach
**Key responsibilities**:
- Telephone duties
- Postal and courier delivery duties
- Travel bookings
- Meeting room management
- Kitchen maintenance
- OH&S and Fire Evacuation
- Other ad-hoc administrative tasks
Required skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage incoming phone calls and ensuring they are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
- Proven skills in managing multiple demands and being able to prioritise them based on importance.
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines - take ownership of duties/tasks to ensure completion within required deadlines and to do this in a calm manner.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong initiative and the ability to drive improvements in processes and procedures.
- A pleasant and professional demeanor in dealing with everyone.
- A commitment to doing the job well, whatever the job is.
- A positive attitude, a ‘can-do' approach and the want to help others.
- Enthusiasm for working with a diverse group of staff, clients and suppliers.
- Hospitality/barista experience (preferable but not essential)
- The ability to forge strong relationships with the teams of each of the companies that sees you gain the trust and support of staff.
- The ability to display a positive attitude that sees you enjoy your work and take ownership of the role.
