Reporting to the Head of Retail, this dual role is ideal for someone who thrives in the fast-paced world of social media and paid content, while also bringing structure and support to the local marketing efforts of our national store network.
You’ll be responsible for managing the social media calendar, creating engaging content, coordinating influencer outreach, overseeing community management, and supporting the execution of paid digital campaigns.
On the local front, you’ll play a key behind-the-scenes role in the administration of our LAM program—assisting in the development and review of quarterly store plans, reporting on redemptions, supporting sponsorship initiatives, and managing the LAM section of the print portal.
This role focuses on delivering impactful digital campaigns and operational support for Burger Urge stores through supplier coordination, creative asset management, and national network support. You’ll be part of the retail marketing engine room that keeps our brand loud, local, and loved.
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
**Local Area Marketing (LAM)**
- Help review and track store LAM plans each quarter

- Set up and manage paid ad campaigns
- Report on digital metrics and stay ahead of social trends.
**️ Marketing Support**
- Track redemptions and report on what’s working
- Help coordinate campaign artwork and approval
- Jump into the Freshdesk inbox to support stores and answer questions
- Back up the team on national campaigns and store openings when needed
**What You’ll Bring**:
- Experience in marketing coordination, digital content creation, and campaign management.
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers, stores, and stakeholders.
- A love for planning events, building relationships, and making ideas happen.
- Solid social media know-how (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite = bonus).
- A high level of organisation and the ability to juggle multiple projects with ease.
- A passion for bold branding, real results, and good burgers.
**Why Join the BU Crew?**
Work with a brand that’s fun, bold, and unapologetically different.
Drive campaigns that truly make an impact in our communities.
Career growth in a fast-moving, ever-evolving company.
Competitive salary, team discounts, and a supportive burger-loving crew.
This role is perfect for a Marketing Coordinator with 2-3 years’ experience, especially if you’ve already been hands-on with social media and digital content. If you’ve dabbled in local area marketing or worked in franchising, that’s a big bonus—but not essential.
We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude, solid organisational skills, and a genuine interest in growing their marketing career. You’ll get to build on your skills and gain real-world experience across both digital and local marketing inside a fast-paced, fun, franchise environment.
If you’re ready to add a few more feathers to your cap, we’d love to hear from you.
