**About The Role**:
Casual Hands is searching for talented staff with previous experience in events/hospitality to join the team as a Conference and Event Organiser at ours and our clients’ venues, based at North Sydney. Casual Hands provides a Volunteer Management Program for large events. The position is responsible for managing and delivering the Volunteer Management Program for these and other events.

**Key responsibilities and tasks consist of, but are not limited to**:

- Promoting events to potential volunteers, event staff and customers.
- Responding to client and business inquiries concerning services provided and organising the requirements and equipment needed for the Volunteer Operations Centre and volunteers, including but not limited to catering and related services.
- Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and preparing operation plans and documents to meet these needs.
- Arranging and coordinating services, such as facilities, catering, signage, displays, audio visual equipment, rostering and rewards programs for participants and volunteers.
- Organising recruitment, onboarding and rostering of volunteers.
- Managing the type and cost of services to be provided within budget.
- Overseeing work by contractors, the events team and reporting on program delivery to the business and client.
- At least 2 years of previous experience in events management.
- Strong knowledge of the meetings and events industry, with a focus on driving revenue growth and delivering events to a budget.
- High level proficiency in MS Office suite.
- A warm, friendly, professional manner towards all clients and staff.
- Problem solving skills and innovative thinking.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to multi-task and work closely with other event service providers
- (Desirable) experience in training and managing volunteers.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
