**A unique role in Vestas Australia is open for anyone w who wants to explore the renewable energy industry and build a career in this space. Vestas Australia is looking for a Commercial Manager who will become an integral part of the Development team. This Commercial Manager will help grow Australia's Wind Generation Portfolio and support the team's ongoing activities.**

**The Commercial Development team is responsible for the commercialization of mature wind farm developments that are developed by the Vestas Australian Development Team.**

**These commercial responsibilities include managing the equity sale process for mature wind farm developments, selling the energy from the same projects (PPAs), and arranging the debt. The team also supports the commercial strategy and commercial decision-making of the wider development team.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Active involvement in the Commercial Development team's live transactions
- Support the Commercial Development team's relationship-building and negotiation activities for equity, debt, and PPA
- Constructing and keeping Financial Models up to date
- Modelling and reporting changes to financial models for internal purposes
- Support the Australian development team's hydrogen activities
- Research and report on Market dynamics

**Qualifications**:

- 3 to 5 years of commercial or finance experience
- Advanced Degree in Finance, Business or equivalent industry qualification such as CA/CFA/CAIA/CPA
- Energy Infrastructure / Energy Market background a plus
- Big 4 Accounting/Advisory, in particular, transaction support background a plus

**Competencies**:

- Strong financial modeling skills
- Strong reporting writing and communication skills
- Supporting large transactions
- Project financial modeling and assessments
- Experience in power and particularly renewable projects
- Ability to participate effectively as part of a small diverse team and respond to a changing and dynamic environment
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Project and Excel.
