**TEN Recruitment **have been working closely alongside an ASX-listed mining organisation to search for a
**Ventilation Technician **to join their Mining Technical Services team. This position would see you reporting to the Senior Ventilation Engineer, working a permanent FIFO roster of 8:6 flying from Perth to the project site, located in the Midwest region of WA.

**Your responsibilities may include**:

- Perform audits and investigations into exceedances.
- Update and distribute the refuge chamber and emergency escape way cards.
- Provide instruction on mine clearing for production firing.
- Operation, calibration and maintenance of instrumentation.
- Perform ventilation inspections and record close out of defects.
- Proactively update and maintain mining software to support long-term planning.
- Maintenance of sampling records.

**Essential criteria**:

- Hold or be willing to obtain a DGSC (Dangerous Good Security Card).
- 2+ years exposure to an underground mining environment will be highly regarded.
- Proven knowledge of underground mining practices.
- Sound understanding of ventilation instruments and systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Strong safety and environmental awareness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
