Underground Operations Technician

Looking for a new challenge in underground operations? We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Crew team member to join our crew.

As an all-rounder, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and safe operations. Reporting to the Mining Shift Supervisor, your daily tasks will include:

  • Installing and repairing services and ventilation systems
  • Building vent walls and installing cable bolts
  • Prepping drill holes and maintaining high housekeeping standards
  • Operating heavy diesel equipment and cleaning mono pumps

Safety is our top priority – you will lead by example, identify hazards, and help eliminate risky behaviors. You will also be responsible for environmental considerations around underground operations.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 6 months of service crew experience
  • Minimum 18 months of underground mining experience
  • Current manual C Class Driver's Licence
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card
  • Working at Heights certification
  • Current Police Clearance

This roster is 7 days on, 12-hour shifts. Residential in Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth.
