About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Conveyor Technician to lead and supervise shutdown crews at mine sites across Western Australia. This role offers a dynamic mix of technical hands-on work and leadership responsibilities, along with the opportunity to promote and grow our STARCLEAN scraper range and associated product lines.

Depending on project needs, this role will be a combination of on site/remote work and the Bassendean workshop. The position is responsible for providing hands-on leadership, mentoring, and supervision to the Promet Conveyor Service team, while ensuring compliance and successful delivery within the defined Promet scope of work .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the PROMET Conveyor Service team during shutdown activities to ensure safety, efficiency and compliance.
• Perform mechanical-based duties in challenging work environments over 12-hr shifts.
• Provide technical advice and hands-on training to the PROMET service team.
• Lead HSE by example by conducting pre-start and toolbox meetings, field leadership interactions and workplace inspections.
• Engage with clients to understand their challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Foster a culture of safety, diligence, and enthusiasm in all work environments.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results.
• Promote STARCLEAN and other PROMET product solutions to clients.

What We're Looking For

• Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor certificate and/or other supervisory training (Highly desirable).
• Comprehensive background in conveyor maintenance and servicing.
• Demonstrates strong acumen in confidently managing and leading a team on site.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly with MS Office.
• Trade or tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Mechanical or related disciplines are highly regarded.
• Current Working at Heights, Confined Space and First Fire Attack.
• High Risk work License – WP, RG, DG, LF (Highly desirable).
• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including drug and alcohol screen.
• National Police Clearance within 6 months (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid C Class Drivers License.
