**THE ROLE**
As a Service Lead - APAC at Kempower, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the ever-evolving EV market within the APAC region. On a typical day, you'll be assisting our internal service engineers in resolving service tickets, consulting with service partners and ensuring the adherence of warranty processes, in effect making a direct impact on our mission to revolutionize transportation.
In this role you will:
- Oversee APAC service ticket system and assist service engineers in electrical troubleshooting.
- Author, implement and manage internal processes and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce workloads and meet internal KPI’s.
- Consult and coordinate with service partners in resolving technical issues on installed assets.
- Ensure stakeholder compliance with established warranty processes.
- Facilitate regular team meetings.
- Assess field quality and provide feedback to engineering / design teams in Finland.
- Conduct periodic service partner reviews.
At Kempower we are accommodating a hybrid work model. This role is primarily based in our Melbourne CBD office; however, you will have the opportunity to work from home as well.

**WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE**
- Experience in management roles within the electrical industry, with EV industry experience preferred but not essential.
- A strong commitment to customer service and achieving positive outcomes for our partner and customer network.
- Experience in service industry ticketing systems.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with MS office suite and Slack. Experience with Atlassian suite of products preferred but not essential.
- A strong desire to author and implement internal procedures and processes to improve team efficiency and reduce workloads.
- A willingness to guide and teach other team members on electrical troubleshooting, customer service and electrical industry practices.
- Experience in contract negotiations and contractor work order processes.
- Experience in installing / maintaining electrical infrastructure within commercial and industrial facilities is preferred but not essential.
- A willingness to undertake travel throughout the APAC region to meet with key stakeholders and provide guidance on service processes.
- Experience in electrical safety practices, including knowledge of permitting systems, lock out-tag out, SWMS and JHA’s.
