Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Material Planning Lead to join ServiceStream in our Collins Street office.
About the Role

ServiceStream’s Planning and Systems division are currently seeking a Material Planning Lead to join our growing company. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of materials supply through detailed forecasting and analysis, inventory optimization, continuous improvement activities and strong stakeholder engagement.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Collins Street, VIC

Reporting Line: National Inventory & Systems Manager

Key Responsibilities

This role will provide exceptional service and support, and work collaboratively with, the wider supply chain team and have a customer facing role with our partners and emerging contracts to ensure service excellence. You will manage complex customer issues with the ability to coordinate and guide the team during unexpected events.

The role will require natural leadership skills that will allow to effectively guide and support team members and lead by example. Experience presenting and interpreting data and analytics is desirable.
- Champion and lead the supply planning process for specific business areas.
- Facilitate the Consensus and Demand Review process for the category within the Integrated Business Management cycle of meetings.
- Identify root causes of supply imbalances and inventory issues and prioritise opportunities for improvement
- Recruit, coach and develop planning team members; define roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities.
- POC for BAU escalations
- Responsible for the creation and execution of KPI reporting, ensuring accurate data collection while highlighting key insights to drive better decision making
- Maintain Documentation / Procedures/Processes
- Ability to multitask - Demonstrated ability to manage various functions at the same time

About You
- Tertiary qualification with an emphasis in business, manufacturing, or equivalent, is desired
- Sound knowledge of Quality standards and systems
- Strong communications skills to be able to negotiate and influence key stakeholders to drive portfolio performance.
- Previous relevant experience in Operations
- Ability to facilitate and understand planning and risk management
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc report for the Leadership Team
- Ability to hire and develop Inventory Planners
- Ability to multitask - Demonstrated ability to manage various functions at the same time.
