**Job Description**:
Weatherzone is Australia’s largest private weather service, reaching one in five Australians each month with weather forecasts, news and insights. In addition to its consumer services, Weatherzone provides decision support solutions to business, corporate and government clients across 15 industries including energy, travel, insurance, events, agriculture, retail and mining.
In 2019, Weatherzone was acquired by DTN Group, the world’s largest privately owned weather information business. At the same, Weatherzone in-sourced direct media sales capability, ending a decades-long sales partnership with Nine/Fairfax.- Main Purpose of the Role - Grow Weatherzone Consumer business through audience acquisition, engagement and upsell:
- Acquire & retain users cost effectively
- Increase user engagement and retention
- Convert free users into paying subscribers
- Own & develop Consumer data insights to drive incremental growth across the Consumer business
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & implement plans to deliver growth goals via internal platforms and external marketing channels
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Communications teams to promote alignment of purpose & goals.
- Own & manage Consumer marketing channels using a test and learn approach to acquire, convert and upsell customers including brand, acquisition marketing, social media, content marketing, PR, performance online marketing, SEM, SEO and CRM.
- Manage digital agency and 3rd party contributor relationships.
- Work with the Product team to optimise UX, product features, pricing, packaging, upsell prompts, purchase pathways and messaging to increase ULTV
- Measurement of audience, segments and cohorts, engagement, campaign performance, conversion rates, ULTV, ROI and revenue
- Create a core capability around analytics for the business including customer insights and data driven decision making, regularly and proactively communicating insights visually across the business
Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a performance, digital or general b2c marketing role
- Proven experience delivering ROI on cross channel campaigns
- Sound understanding of key app & web performance drivers across internal and external marketing channels to achieve awareness engagement, acquisition, conversion and retention goals
- Experience with Google Sheets, Google Analytics, Firebase, Google AdWords & Ad Manager, Facebook Business Manager, Mailchimp and Hubspot
- Experience and exposure to digital publishing highly regarded
- Experience and exposure to Tableau highly regarded
- Experience and exposure with multi-variate testing highly regarded

Tertiary Qualifications & Industry Accreditations:
- Bachelor in business, marketing, communications or similar
