**The Role**
As an APS 6 DFSC Knowledge Management Officer you will:
- Coordinate, develop and deliver Defence Fuel Supply Chain (DFSC) knowledge management deliverables including information management policy and procedures, balanced scorecard, trend analysis data and provision of advice to emerging capability requirements.
- Manage the data libraries for various reports including library maintenance, storage, archival and upkeep.
- Coordinate and report outcomes of data validation / assurance of Performance Management Framework self-reported results from Contractors including UGL and Viva, and other contracts.
- Maintain quality of the data using feedback, concerns, questions; evaluating and identifying issues; and coordinating and implementing corrections regularly, to ensure Balanced Scorecard (BSC) implementation is effective.
- Manage and conduct the identification of knowledge management requirements including definitions and business rules for various BSC metrics.
- Support the collection of data required to conduct validation activities, analysis and reporting.
- Manage Corrective Action Requests related to data validation / assurance, Balanced Scorecard and other knowledge management activities.
**About our Team**
The Business Management Directorate (BMD) is a key enabling Directorate within Fuel Services Branch and has a pivotal role in ensuring effective communications, consistent and collaborative working practices across the Branch. All roles in BMD involve engagement across the Branch and out to the wider Defence fuel network. This Directorate leads the Defence Fuel Supply Chain (DFSC) enabling functions including Governance, Contract Management, Quality Management, Information and Knowledge Management and Risk Management.
