**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We’re seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager to join our Learning and Development (L&D) team based in Sydney or Melbourne.

Reporting to the Head of Learning and Organisational Development you’ll be responsible for the design, delivery and/ or oversight of L&D programs across the firm. As part of a global team you’ll add value by leading various L&D projects, advising on/designing capability initiatives to improve engagement and building skills to meet business outcomes.

Day-to-day you will:

- Management, design and delivery of professional skills development programs in line with our global offerings
- Undertaking discovery of training needs across client groups and implementing appropriate development interventions
- Lead in the discovery, design and delivery of team and department organisational development initiatives to build teams
- Contribute to national and global projects in Knowledge and Learning, Business Development, Human Resources and other priority areas
- Build relationships with and manage senior stakeholder relationships across the business particularly with firm partners
- Provide coaching support as part of our internal coaching faculty across our legal and business services staff.
- Line management of Learning & Development coordinators, providing for their professional development

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**

To be successful in this position you will have:

- Learning and Development experience within a legal/ professional services environment
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (i.e. education, organisational development or developmental psychology)
- Experience in designing and facilitating best practice adult education in a professional services environment
- Experience in needs analysis and program design for senior as well as junior audiences
- The ability to influence senior and diverse stakeholders, including leading and managing senior leaders through change
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and commercially
- Qualifications and experience in executive level coaching (desirable)
