**Payroll Officer - Infrastructure and Investment - CBD**
**The Company**
Our client is a well-known, multinational operator within the infrastructure and investment sector, enjoying a stable and hugely successful track record. With high-profile investments spanning commercial property and infrastructure, this success and growth is set to continue and they are eyeing another record year ahead.

- Allow their team to work from home 2 days per week once training is completed
- Operate from state-of-the-art A-Grade offices centrally located in the Sydney CBD
- Work closely with a Senior Payroll officer
**The Role**
In this position as a Payroll Officer, your role will play a pivotal role in managing the payroll function. You will perform:
- End-to-end processing of a monthly payroll, including new starters and terminations
- Processing of timesheets and data entry for the weekly payroll
- Updating and ongoing maintenance of payroll and leave records
- Liaising with staff in relation to payroll related queries
- Interpreting awards/agreements and contracts
- Monthly and annual reconciliations, reporting and journals for payroll, payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation, workers compensation
- Assisting with the completion of payroll related month-end and year-end processes and liaising with the Accounting Team
**Your Background**
To be considered for this Payroll position, you must possess the majority of the following attributes:
- Minimum of 3-5 years full function payroll experience
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with all levels of stakeholders
- Follow established processes and make process improvements
- Have a strong eye for detail
- Possess an attitude and willingness to learn
This role is best suited for a Payroll Officer who enjoys working in the payroll function within a friendly and corporate environment.
