**JOB PURPOSE**:
The L3HCA Business Operations Manager is accountable and responsible for support to the entire L3HCA business in the delivery of effective internal support. Directly coordinating the internal functions of Data Management, IT, Quality, EH&S and Facilities, the Business Operations Manager will ensure that each internal function has clear support strategies, resourcing plans, and prioritisation methodologies that support the entire L3HCA business across all sites.

**SCOPE**:
Working with the L3HCA Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and co-ordinating directly with the US based functions, the Business Operations Manager will ensure that the L3HCA business is supported in all areas of Function, Program and Project execution. Working as part of the extended L3HCA Leadership team, it is expected that the Business Operations Manager will proactively resource and form detailed plans for success for each Function.

This role will specifically focus on:

- Working with the L3HCA VP & MD and L3HCS SLT to ensure a timely and professional service is delivered to partnered businesses every time.
- Ensuring each function is available to support the on-going and emerging requirements of the business
- Ensuring resources are trained and depth of capability exists to ensure success
- Liaising with Program Managers to support each programs’ requirement
- Working with the L3HCA SLT to proactively assess and plan for business changes.
- Supporting the Programs with all CAPEX requirements, and supporting all scoping instructions as needed.
- Ensuring that all ISO & EH&S accreditations are secured and maintained and engaging as required for all annual recertifications
- Maintaining close control of all assigned budgets and supporting all cost/price reviews as necessary to ensure business continuity.
- Working with he functional teams on processes and tools, to ensure optimal support delivery.
- Supporting all direct resources in their career development.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Act as the single focal point for the Business Support capability
- Routinely communicate with US stakeholders to ensure alignment in policy, process and procedure.
- Monitor and report on tasks, ensuring required response times are met.
- Develop and own policy, process and procedures for effective support outcomes.
- Understand and support the strategic focus and direction of the business.
- Reporting on all risks, challenges and opportunities.
- Liaising with the HR & SLT as required for all EH&S business requirements

**REQUIREMENTS**

Essential
- 5+ years’ experience in a Business Management role.
- Proven experience in co-ordinating resources to achieve win/win outcomes
- Proven experience in working within a matrix organisation to ensure successful outcomes
- Willingness to travel inter-state as required.
- AGSVA Baseline Australian Security clearance.

Desirable
- Oracle/ SharePoint experience.
- Experience in dealing with International ‘Parent Companies’.
