**Events and Community Partnerships Lead**

Are you an events professional looking to expand your skill set in fundraising to support a charity supporting disadvantaged youth access education.
- Work collaboratively with a small team to execute national and local events and provide support in community relationships and partnerships.
- Full time or part time (4 days a week) role based in Sydney CBD with hybrid work opportunities.

**Role Summary**

As the Events and Community Partnership Lead you will manage and produce national and local fundraising initiatives and events, with a major focus on the annual major gala event.

This role will also have responsibility to execute national fundraising campaigns, appeals and maintain and nurture an existing donor database as well as manage volunteer and community relationship and support the stewardship of corporate partnerships.

This role will suit an individual who loves a fast paced environment, can work with multiple stakeholders and who is able to handle challenging situations with ease.

**Key responsibilities**
- Responsible for fundraising activities from conception to completion in the areas of community, schools, stores, events, and appeals
- Oversee and manage aspects of planning and executing new and existing events, including the annual gala
- Input and maintain donor data into CRM (Sales Force)
- Source prizes and gifts to support fundraising event activities, predominantly for the annual gala
- Produce external and internal collateral and documents to a high standard that are engaging and on brand
- Produce ongoing and ad-hoc reports on key fundraising metrics when required

**Skills and experiences**
- Demonstrated success in events, marketing, and communications with a track preferably
- within the not-for-profit and/or charities sector
- Demonstrated success in organising gala fundraising events
- Prepare presentations to potential sponsors and at events when required
- Ability to take an event brief, determine resourcing and timing requirements, and engage with content experts to craft an outstanding attendee experience
- Understanding and familiarity with technology to facilitate virtual and in-person events experiences
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills with a proven ability to establish and nurture relationships
- Exceptional levels of written and verbal communication
- Ability to work autonomously while being part of a team
- Sound knowledge of and experience in online fundraising campaigns and appeals
