**About the role**:
Supports the Australian Region in regards to the complete employee life cycle, including talent acquisition, the HRIS and performance management programs. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, procedures and systems. Acts as HR Generalist assiting in other areas of HR. Responsible for special projects in various function areas. Maintains a productive, professional and dynamic culture in alignment with our guiding principals: Trust, Nurture and Inspire.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as HR Business Partner for Australia, enabling business results by driving the full HR agenda spanning HR systems, processes, compensation, recruitment, talent development, business partnering, and compliance.
- Closely work with Global HR Team and Australian leadership to craft and deliver HR initiatives linked to the company Strategic Plan, driving good change management practices, and supporting the continued development of our teams.
- Share qualitative and data driven insights in a timely fashion to leaders and partners that help craft the direction and delivery of business actions
- Support in delivering HR projects as part of a Global HR Team
- Provide functional leadership and guidance to the business unit managers to support the ongoing development of talent.
- Maintain a working knowledge of HR related federal and state legislation ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Post-secondary degree or certificate specialising in human resources or related area preferred
- Solid knowledge of human resources industry standards, practices, and federal and provincial employment and labor laws and regulations
- Demonstrated understanding of key areas of HR functions: compensation & benefits, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, talent development, retention, termination, policy, HRIS, etc
- Ability to produce quality documents confidentially, quickly and to company standards
- Organised with exceptional prioritisation skills and the ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities
- Superior attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to work effectively within a group demonstrating 'team spirit' as well as independently motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills; consistent in dealings with employees
- Consistent professionalism in dealings with employees and effectively communicate with senior management,
- Experience in Architecture, Engineering or Construction industries, professional services or consulting firm, or related technical discipline is highly preferred
- Experience with Workday is preferred
