We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Smart Infrastructure business unit for an experienced and motivated Solution Sales Professional. The role will be responsible for solution sales within the Energy & Performance Services (EPS) pillar of the business, with the ability to be based in either our Sydney or Melbourne offices.

Reporting to the EPS Head, this role will be responsible for the growth targets in EPS key verticals across the Australian and New Zealand markets. The primary focus is on demand side solutions such as energy efficiency upgrades, energy performance contracting and guaranteed energy savings solutions, with a peripheral focus on supply side solutions such as renewables, battery storage and microgrids.

The primary function in this role is to achieve annual sales growth targets by generating new profitable customers for Siemens across key verticals. You will be required to proactively select, collect & communicate customer/competitor information required to improve market transparency and to identify potential new customers, fostering relationships within the Mechanical, Electrical, Building and Property sectors.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Performing all required EPS Solution Sales activities for Australia & NZ including;
- Evaluating customer requirements and developing a solution to meet those requirements
- Preparing and submitting offers to customers
- Negotiating offers with customers
- Be the customer advocate within the Siemens organisation, taking responsibility for all customer activities ensuring a timely and positive outcome
- Perform sales administration tasks such as forecasting and reporting, pipeline management, CRM management etc.

You will also be required to set up bid and tender projects, from the commercial & project execution bid part, through to the technical element and final bid composition. This will be achieved by working closely with Senior Sales Executives, Energy Engineers and Project Managers, ensuring a clear, attractive, and competitive customer value proposition.

You will also have a technical appreciation of the Energy, Building Controls and Automation sectors, ideally with some Mechanical, Electrical, Building or Property industry experience. The ability to communicate effectively and be able to build strong relationships at all levels internally and within customer organisations is essential. Some people management experience is desirable.
