We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated **Disability Support Workers** to join the team supporting a young man living in Inala. The family would love to find people who can speak English as well as Japanese or Vietnamese and may also interests in travel and exploring different cultures, namely Japan.

His shifts are every day to support him to access his local community, attend social and recreational activities and assistance with self care at home.

**Sifts Available**
- 9am-3pm, Wed, Thu, Fri
- 1pm-5pm, Sat &Sun

**What our clients are looking for**

**Must haves**
- An ability to bring your enthusiasm, positive attitude, creativity and interests to work, to engage and motivate people to pursue their interests and to live a safe healthy and dignified life.
- Drivers Licence and own vehicle. Sometimes you will be required to assist the person to attend activities in the community with you. Mileage allowance is paid.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, current First Aid and CPR

In home duties may include
- Assisting people to participate in chosen their activities
- Meal preparation
- Shopping and social outings
- Assisting with personal care
- Medication administration
- Domestic assistance

We provide National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service to NDIS participants at our three day centre locations, in-home care services, and newly opened respite care home.

Pay: $31.76 - $33.96 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
