**About Us**

Honour Care (Shiny Care Pty Ltd) is a registered NDIS provider dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred support across Brisbane, Logan, and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable **female support worker** to assist a young Aboriginal client in **Inala**.

**About the Role**

The role involves providing respectful and empowering support to a young Aboriginal participant, assisting with day-to-day living, personal care, and community participation. A culturally sensitive approach and genuine commitment to supporting independence are essential.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care and daily living support
- Support community access and recreational activities
- Encourage independence, skills building, and self-confidence
- Maintain professional boundaries and respect cultural values
- Complete shift notes and follow care plans

**Requirements**:

- Female support worker (requirement of participant’s care needs)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current Police Check
- Driver’s licence + reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Previous experience supporting young people or Aboriginal clients is highly regarded
