We have an exciting opportunity for **Domestic Services Assistant (cleaning/laundry) **in our Eight Mile Plains facility.

**About us**

Bethany Christian Care is a not-for-profit aged care provider established in 1949. We have three villages: Beth Eden Riverside Village at Graceville; The Plains Retirement Village at Eight Mile Plains (where the Bethany Christian Care office is also located); and Janoah Gardens Retirement Village at Manly West.

Our purpose is to serve and honour the Lord Jesus Christ by serving older people and creating welcoming communities where people can see and feel Christ’s love in action.

**About the role**

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Complete routine and project cleaning tasks according to established cleaning schedules.
- Practice safe and effective manual handling techniques.
- Commitment to personal and professional development

**Requirements**:
**About you**

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone that is:

- An Australian citizen, permanent resident or have unlimited work rights;
- Has a valid police check or is able to obtain one;
- Experienced working in the cleaning industry;
- Friendly and a team player;
- Comfortable working around the elderly;
- Able to demonstrate their ability to work within our strong Christian philosophy.
