**About the role**:
Ventia has a long and successful partnership with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and holds a current Base Services contract to manage facilities on a national level. Due to holding this contract and an internal promotion, we are looking to engage a full time National Training Area and Range Management lead to provide coordination of the national Training Area and Range Management (TARM) deliverables under the Defence Base Services contract. This position will see you located anywhere in Australia, you will be required to travel to remote defence sites throughout the following states/territories - VIC, SA, WA, or NT.
Reporting directly into the National Environmental Strategy Manager, you are someone who enjoys being relied upon and building relationships and engaging with staff, sub-contractors, and stakeholders. You are naturally a results focused individual who can identify, prioritise, and solve problems and issues.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead coordination of the national Training Area and Range Management (TARM) deliverables under the DBS contract.
- Develop and implement TARM contract governance in addition to improvement actions, development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
- Assisting in project management of sub-contractors.
- Identify, design, and implement service line improvements based on audit findings, service line data analysis and industry best practice.
- Comply with Risk Management, Quality and Health, Safety and Environment standards
- Travel to remote defence sites monthly across VIC, SA, WA or NT.
**Experience & Qualifications**:
- Qualifications in project/program management, systems engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrates the ability to adapt to and accommodate changes, at both the project level and solution level.
- Data analytics and problem solving
- Defence experience is highly desirable.
- Have experience in project management, data analytics and problem solving
You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions.
