Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to deliver leading maintenance services in the water industry. These projects cover South East Queensland across multiple locations.
Wood is currently recruiting a Management of Change Specialist. The primary objective of this role is to take ownership and delivery of the Management of Change process, provide governance and assurance of this process to relevant managers and stakeholders, and to input into the Emerging Asset Risk process.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and action all simple changes by performing the duties of the MOC Change Coordinator
- Administer the simple change process and follow up on any outstanding reviewer, stakeholder and approver actions
- Ensure compliance to the procedure for each change management phase, and provide system and process improvement opportunities to the Minor Works Program Coordinator
- Provide guidance and support in the development of process documentation including risk and stakeholder registers, ready for start up reviews and lesson learnt registers
- Determine the appropriate reviewers, stakeholders and approvers required to review and approve the change
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure all elements of the change have been captured i.e drawings, asset information and maintenance requirements
- Advise Minor Works Program Coordinator of any process issues that may require management intervention
- Consolidate and prepare the Facility Risk Registers for use within the Emerging Asset Risk forums, and attend and contribute at the forums
- Monitor and provide governance reporting on the emerging asset risk process to the Asset Portfolio Risk Management Group as well as oversite of action tracking from the Group
- Complete all administrative tasks and carry out duties as directed by the Lead - Technical Specialist
Skills / Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or Trade qualifications with minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar industry or role
- Unrestricted C class driver's licence for manual vehicles
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
- Understanding of the scope, function and nature of the
Electrical/Mechanical/Civil assets used in water treatment and bulk water storage.
- Knowledge of change of management and project management principles and mythologies
- SharePoint experience would be highly advantageous
- An understanding of RPEQ requirements in the design and construction of engineering assets
- A good understanding of risk management and the development and assessment of risks
- A driven, self motivated individual with high integrity and ethical standards with the ability to perform in a changing environment while maintaining necessary to-date skills and knowledge base
- Demonstrated solid communication skills both written and verbal, who can work independently as well as with a team of professionals and stakeholders with diverse work background
- Proven ability to identify emergent risks and ensure timely and effective responses
