FULL TIME position - 5-year fixed term contract
- Salary - $199 - $201k package including salary, Motor Vehicle & Superannuation_
We are looking for a leader who is passionate about creating thriving, connected, and inclusive communities.
**This position is instrumental in enhancing** community wellbeing, connectedness and quality of life, and ensuring diverse community voices are engaged and heard through a culture of participation, wellbeing and inclusion.

- You will help create spaces where everyone is valued and has a chance to contribute.
**What you will be doing**:
- Providing quality advice to Council on community wellbeing, strengthening the community’s capacity for a brighter future.
- Promoting recognition, inclusion and celebration of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples and other cultures, that value diversity across the PAE community in all its forms.
- Sparking creativity and celebrating our shared stories and history.
- Promoting healthy active lifestyles through programs, quality facilities, effective planning, and promotion.
- Tackling critical issues such as homelessness and ageing well with compassion and effectiveness.
- Fostering a team culture of innovation, accountability, and performance through effective employee engagement and continuous improvement.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Senior leadership experience within a community development framework and the ability to lead and implement change.
- A community development mindset with deep knowledge of best practices, policies, and the importance of inclusion.
- Experience in designing and managing complex programs and services that address diverse community needs.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- The capability to plan, problem-solve, and manage budgets to ensure the effective delivery of services.
- Experience in planning, implementing, and managing complex community and cultural programs/projects or services.
