**The Position**:
**St John of God Murdoch Hospital** is the premium private hospital south of the river in Perth. We provide a well-established range of secondary and tertiary clinical services from our high quality facilities. All supported by a full complement of clinical support services.

**St John of God Murdoch Hospita**l Emergency Department provides a comprehensive, consultant-delivered emergency service to adults and children. We have opportunities for suitably qualified and experienced
- **Emergency Medicine Consultants** to join a supportive team who are committed in providing high quality clinical management to ED patients.
- This position will be offered on a permanent full time or permanent part time basis.

- Registered or eligible for General registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) with Specialist registration in the field of Emergency Medicine.
- Hold registration with FACEM (Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine) or equivalent professional membership.
- Demonstrated substantial clinical experience in the management of high acuity patients in a complex hospital environment.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop partnerships and mentor postgraduate professionals.
- Well-developed review and evaluation skills, including the ability to make informed decisions.
