**The position**

This is a key role within the organisation as in a Management role in Utility Locating in conjunction with project management and operations. You will be a key member of the locating team and have a senior scope in the business overseeing a mixture of asset detection work as well as dealing with projects in quoting, planning, operations and lead the running of certain work that you assign to yourself. Your main functions will include:

- Working with the team and taking lead on projects
- Doing general utility locating & subsurface asset detection
- Quoting jobs and servicing client requests
- Interpreting plans and projects self managing outcomes
- Handling some organisational components for projects
- Working in with surveyors, labourers, diggers, operators & more
- Relationship management with clients and customers
- A mixture of on site in the field and from office operations
- Working across the general NSW geographical region
- Being a lead locator in the business to continue on a career path within

To be suitable for this role it is imperative that you have experience from utility locating or sub surface asset detection background. You will ideally have experience across the broad range of detection requirements and have general experience. Below summarises the basics:

- General experience with EM locators & GPR equipment
- Experience in general asset & sub surface utility locating
- Experience in quoting, assessing & interpreting projects
- Experience in client and customer liaison
- Experience with related programs, software & locating systems
- Experience dealing with NDD
- Experience on construction tools drilling, cutting etc.
- Have construction cards and DBYD or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and written skills
- Good computer and tech skills
