Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in the Greater Sydney Area for a Surveyor/Utility Locator. The Surveyor/Utility Locator will be responsible for identifying and mapping underground utilities, structures, and assets. Daily tasks include utilising specialized equipment to locate utilities, documenting findings, creating accurate maps, and working closely with the project team to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of excavation and planning processes. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or higher in surveying or willingness to obtain.
  • BYDA/CertLoc accreditation or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently in outdoor and on-site environments
  • Experience with 12D and AutoCAD preferable
  • Experience with Trimble total station/GNSS
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
