About the role

We are seeking an experienced Utilities Sydney Water Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Momentum Civil Group Pty Ltd. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects in the Sydney area. This is offering opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects in the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction projects, from planning to completion
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and implement strategies to address any issues that arise
  • Ensure project quality standards are met and that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and safety protocols
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to the project team and senior management
  • Mentor and manage a team of construction professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Sydney Water UTILITIES INDUSTRY
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and contract administration
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as scheduling, budgeting, and reporting
  • Proven track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget
  • Familiarity with local construction regulations, building codes, and safety standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff
