**The Role**
The Joint Command and Control Systems Program Office (JC2SPO) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled APS 6 Project Support Officer to support project delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic program and work with an integrated team to acquire and deliver critical command, control, communications and computer capabilities.
The APS Project Support Officer duties will primarily consist of performing and achieving complex project work within an integrated workforce. The right person for this role will show the flexibility to respond to the changing context and shifting priorities of the Defence environment and the agility to realign resourcing to meet new demands. You will be an outcome-focused leader who provides support and guidance to your team to ensure they are sensitive to Defence strategic direction and equipped to excel in their capabilities.
**About our Team**
- Provide operational support to project management and facilitate administrative and coordination requirements.
- To lead the development and maintenance of project planning and processes in accordance with agreed procedures and performance standards.
- Research, draft and prepare briefs, complex correspondence and reports including submissions for committee consideration.
- Work collaboratively, operate as an effective team member and provide constructive feedback.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders and understand their expectations and concerns.
- Assess and adjust project management methodologies to comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
