Your new company
Hays Technology in Brisbane are partnered with a highly successful equipment provider, with nearly 90 years’ experience within the industry.
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Specialist for an initial 6-month contract to work across a number of projects within the organisation.
Your new role
As the Data Migration Specialist, you will assist the data migration activities related to implementation of a new warehouse solution for the company.
**Key responsibilities include**:
Lead the data migration stream of work under the warehouse replacement project
Prepare key data migration products including the data migration strategy/approach, plan, specification and data archiving considerations
Undertake data profiling for datasets including identifying, analyzing, and remediating data quality issues
Help in the design, implementation, and execution of data migration activities with auditability and reconciliation
Ensure that data extraction and cleansing activities are continuously improved through the test and validation cycles.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in any one or ETL tools, SQL coding, data migration staging and ETL process.
Strong SQL
Experience working on data migration projects
Experience working in with agile methodologies
