**The opportunity**:
This role is all about **_growth_** - of your career and experience while also growing the LDH’s revenue and impact.

Building on strong foundations and an existing group of highly engaged supporters, this role will see you grow the organisation's mid level and major gifts programs.

You’ll see the impact of your work first hand, with funds directly growing the LDH’s range of shelter, adoption, foster, vet care and other services.

Working as part of a team of 11 and in collaboration with your colleagues in individual and community giving and gifts in wills, you’ll build and nurture exceptional relationships with high net-worth individuals and family foundations through a range of engagement activities including meetings, VIP events and direct marketing.

You’ll enjoy working in this friendly, compassionate environment with the support and leadership of experienced fundraisers and a wider team of fierce advocates for animal welfare.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- build on major giving program foundations
- maintain and grow a mid-level giving program
- collaborate with colleagues access individual and community giving and gifts in wills
- donor relationship management, delivering an exceptional experience
- moves management planning and execution
- work with internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling cases for support.
- collaborate with your colleagues on direct marketing initiatives
- plan and execute events to cultivate relationships with donors, trusts and foundations and other key supporter groups
- track outcomes and impacts for compelling reporting
- support the Board and CEO to supporting the major giving program

**About you**:
We’d love you to bring
- at least 4 years' experience in fundraising
- demonstrated experience looking after a mid level donor program
- exceptional interpersonal skills, strong communicator and listener
- proven networking, negotiation and relationship skills
- proven experience working to achieve revenue targets
- an interest and willingness to develop your career into the major gifts space
- an appreciation of the role of direct marketing in major donor stewardship
- a calm, considered and detailed approach
- experience using a CRM database (Raisers’ Edge or similar)
- an understanding of outcomes and impact measurement.
