The Women's Office of Philanthropy & Community Investment (PCI) is responsible for all fundraising and philanthropic support for the Women's Hospital. The Office of Philanthropy & Community Investment role is to source and manage funds from a range of channels, including:

- Individual donors
- Major donors
- Bequests
- Philanthropic trusts and foundations
- Corporate and community partnerships
- Community fundraising

In this hands-on position, the Donor Experience Project Coordinator will review current processes related to the Women’s donor experience programs, database and activities, providing recommendations for enhancements, as well as enacting the outcomes through execution and monitoring stages.

The Project Coordinator will work collaboratively and harness the expertise of multiple stakeholders to deliver proposed improvements. The type of activities in scope will deliver systems and efficiency improvements, new business practices, sustained change and aim to triple our donor base and achieve a retention rate on par with industry standard within the next 12 months.

**Your contribution**

Your duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:

- Development of a project plan to ensure outcomes of the review are scheduled and delivered within project timeframes
- Coordinating end to end project delivery through day-to-day management of activities against the project plan. This will include in many cases actually developing the artefacts/deliverables (e.g. updating policies, processes, tools and being quite hands-on in the tasks where necessary
- Improve and implement best practice fundraising accounting processes
- Actioning global database changes such as bulk import and action updates and coding changes
- Improving data integrity by coordinating data cleansing exercises including de-duping and implementing system checks to identify record errors
- Improving and implementing new processes for invoicing
- Pulling accurate data lists to support acquisition and retention activities
- Supporting the delivery of multichannel donor acquisition and the introduction of a gratitude program
- Review and optimisation of the existing donor database and associated processes

**About you**

To be successful within this role you will need to have:

- Relevant fundraising experience with demonstrated ability to optimise and work in databases
- Understanding of individual giving and regular giving programs
- Experience and understanding of fundraising accounting practices
- Superior attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- Ability to manage incoming work with competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and professionally represent the Women's
- Ability to identify and propose effective solutions to problems through proactively seeking information needed to resolve work problems.
- Experience on Raiser's Edge will be highly regarded.
